Dasha was the SAT tutor for both of my sons. Not only was she patient, but she pushed them both to achieve their goals in a firm but very kind way. One son increased his score approxomately 300 points and the other achieved close to a perfect score (increasing by about 200 points).

Whenever they started feeling discouraged or tired of studying, she was instrumental in getting them back on track and focused. She was communicative with me when necessary, but made sure to communicate with my kids on a regular basis to clearly convey her expectations and assignments.

"Nothing has helped me more than SAT tutoring with Dasha."

I worked with Dasha on SAT tutoring for months and it has boosted my score over 200 points. For math tutoring she had a perfect way to review every topic on the test and gave me other methods for test taking when I wasn’t sure how to tackle the problem. In English she helped me understand the difficult passages and helped teach grammar skills that boosted my grammar score by many points. Nothing has helped me more than SAT tutoring with Dasha.
 
After I had achieved an exceptional score, Dasha became my college counselor and helped me develop a list of schools I would like to apply to, including a pros and cons list. She helped with my college essay immensely and assisted in brainstorming, editing, and adding to my supplementary essays. She went above and beyond to help me create a resume that I sent to many schools but can also use in the future. She helped me with common app and supported me throughout the whole college process. What does Dasha do in her free time?

From a young age, Dasha has been immersed in the classical arts, anything from dance to painting, piano to opera singing.

At one point in her studies, she spent months in China learning Mandarin and traditional Chinese opera. She has since ventured into the vibrant world of musical theater.

Outside the classroom, you might find her at Lincoln Center, catching the newest opera and ballet production, scouring the city for the latest omakase spot or finding inspiration traveling.
